The Colony Shoreline Trail features a 10-foot wide, 3.32-mile (6.64-mile round trip) pathway made of decomposed granite and occasional concrete. The trail is perfect for enjoying a walk, jog or bike ride along the beautiful shores of Lewisville Lake. Rustic bridges along the trail complement the beautiful natural scenery and native wildlife. In addition, interpretive signage along the trail provides information about the flora, fauna and history of the area. Trailheads and free parking are located right outside the entrance to Stewart Creek Park and Ridgepoint Park.
